Production Scheduler
Lewis Engineering Company in Marshall, Texas is looking to hire a Production Scheduler. The chosen person will help schedule work cells in a metal machine shop setting to prevent late deliveries to customers. This job will also involve improving efficiencies of work cells. Note: this is not a management position. Managers will be in charge of their department, it is the scheduler who relays the information he has gathered to them. We are looking for a person who lives close to Marshall, we will not pay relocation expenses.
Job Duties:
Schedule projects from start to finish (when to order material, when to start production, monitor lateness)
Monitor machine operator efficiency and work with supervisors to improve
Lead safety meetings
Input data into the ERP software
Lead weekly production meetings
Job Requirements:
College degree is preferred
Job experience in a production or machine shop setting is preferred
Experience scheduling
GREAT computer skills is a must (excel, ERP software, outlook, etc)
Other details
Pay is based upon prior experience
M-F 7:00 - 3:30pm
Training will be provided
Relocation expensive not covered
401k with match after one year of employment
