This is a unique and fantastic Gibson parts banjo being sold on consignment. Here are what I believe to be original Gibson parts: Maple resonator from a 70s RB-100 with single binding One-piece nickel plated flange from a late 50's to early 60's RB-100 All hooks and nuts (nickel plated) from above Three (3) Resonator L brackets - same as above Three (3) resonator thumb screws - same Two-piece armrest - ditto Single coordinator rod The mahogany neck is a copy of an 50's RB-150 Bowtie with added Mastertone block It has a great profile, nice finish and a beautiful rosewood fretboard with capo spikes at 7-10 Pre-Epa REMO head - well worn and played in 3-ply maple rim - most likely a Cox or Cooperman The flathead tone ring is somewhat of a mystery. It's heavy, chrome plated and has extra holes drilled. Despite being a bit unsightly, it sounds great! Planetary tuners are also chrome plated. Nice and smooth with no issues. MOP truss rod cover Will come shipped in a nice, sturdy archtop hardshell case.
